An explorer of RNA’s hidden language. She revealed entirely new classes of RNA 5′ caps, published in Nature Communications, and is supported by an ERC Starting Grant to investigate how these modifications influence stress responses and immunity. Her work in Nucleic Acids Research shows how subtle chemical details can change the course of biology.
